Got the Kamikaze special and it hit the spot! I felt the $12.95 price was a great deal. The roll featured yellowtail inside and a variety of fish on top Salmon, Tuna and Yellowtail. I think the service here is great, the ladies during lunch hour were very kind and sweet. The interior could use a bit of renovation, but didn't bother me too much. I remember coming here a lot in 2006-08 and now it's 2025. I'm sure they'll do some upgrades soon. Nonetheless still cozy and tasty food. Plus outdoor seating. Cheers!

Been coming here for years. I like the food and price. The service is hit or miss. That's why I took a star off. Once you get everything you've ordered that's pretty much it. They really don't check the tables so getting a refill for your drink you have to get up and go to the counter and gets someone's attention. The staff are friendly but not attentive to the tables normally.

This is my favorite sushi spot !! The service is fast and friendly! My go to is the lion king roll and seriously it hits the spot every time! The restaurant is a little smaller and sometimes you have to wait for seating but it is always worth it!

We used to go to this place not only for their rolls but also for their Pork Katsu Curry. We were not disappointed. It has one of the best Pork Katsu Curry in San Diego. The Pork Katsu Curry with 3 rolls almost fit our $50 date budget except that we ordered an additional Calamari appetizer. So our total bill reached $60. Why did we order extra Calamari, because the pork in their Pork Katsu Curry was not enough to finish all the rice that came with it. Perhaps they should add more meat. So I'm giving our total experience 4 stars only.
